Process

The Ossberger cleaning technology allows cleaning of valves with empty hole bores (Ø 2,8 mm, depth 90 mm) and variable diameters, soiled with deep hole drilling oil, metal abrasion and forge residues, with rotary transfer and cycle times of 5 sec./part, without spreading of media.

Result

Cleaned workpieces with dirt quantities of app. 0,003 mg/100mm² in the valve bore, suitable for follow-up process as e.g. sodium filling and friction welding.
